Ivy has left home because Lilsis has done the dirty on her and she's no longer sure who her friends are. For a week she'll tell you **everything** but can she trust you and what will you tell her?

Ivy4Evr is an SMS drama for 13-17 year olds created by Blast Theory, written by Tony White author of novels including Foxy-T (Faber) and commissioned by Channel 4 Education.

Ulrike and Eamon Compliant in Seoul

Ulrike and Eamon Compliant is included in the TRUST: Media City Seoul 2010 exhibition. The work is presented in both Korean and English and runs for the first week of the exhibition from 7th - 12th September. The exhibition is curated by Sunjung Kim (Seoul based independent curator), Clara Kim (REDCAT Los Angeles), Nicolaus Schafhausen (Director and Curator of Witte de With Centre Rotterdam) and Fumihiko Sumitomo (Tokyo based independent curator).

Matt Adams will be giving two talks in Seoul on 1st September as part of INDAF (Incheon Digital Arts Festival) and on 4th September as part of TRUST. Blast Theory's inclusion in the exhibition is supported by the British Council.

Blast Theory documentation in AFTERLIVE exhibition

AFTERLIVE is an exhibition that focusses on artists' documentation of live art practice. Blast Theory is showing video documentation of Uncle Roy All Around You and Rider Spoke.

Alongside the exhibition is a launch event, including a free daytime event by Norwich-based collective other/other/other, a panel discussion, and an evening programme of live art. Visit the website for dates details.

20 Wellington Road weather station now recording

Following our most recent residency by Andrea Polli and her partner Chuck Varga we now have our own weather station installed and running here at 20 Wellington Road.

The station is part of Andrea's Hello Weather project and joins a network of weather stations currently active in New York, New Dehli and Zurich.

A Machine To See With at 2010 01SJ Biennial

In 2009 Blast Theory was awarded the inaugural Locative Cinema Commission by partners ZER01: The Art & Technology Network, Sundance Film Festival‘s New Frontiers Initiative and Banff New Media Institute at The Banff Centre.

A Machine To See With is a work for pedestrians and their mobile phones and puts participants inside a movie as they walk through the city. The first stage of the commission will see Blast Theory in residence at Banff in August 2010 followed by the premiere at 2010 01SJ Biennial from 16th - 19th September.

Doctoral Programme

Blast Theory has joined the Centre for Digital Entertainment's Doctoral Studentship programme; offering a research post for a talented and creative programmer.

The post comprises a 3 year placement with Blast Theory to begin in October 2010 with support from the University of Bath and Bournemouth's Masters programme.

Doctoral studentships are fully-funded providing fees, a tax free stipend and dedicated funding for international conferences.
